Ford F150 Raptor Austin, Texas Area. The client contacted us from a small town outside of Austin, Texas and requested a Diminished Value Appraisal. Ken put together a diminished value report that also included other Ford F-150 trucks for sale with similar damage, to provide additional evidence of the loss. DiminishedValue.net’s appraisals are USPAP compliant, but also provides several ways to show the loss of value so a layman can come to the same conclusion. According to Ken, “our job is not just prepare an appraisal, but to supply enough evidence that it is easy for a judge or jury to come to the same conclusion as the appraiser did”. Providing a diminished value appraisal that is normally 30+ pages long, with diagrams and is color coded to be easy to read, compared to the normal 2 page appraisal with mystical formulas and calculations makes a world of difference when negotiating a claim.
